Shrine designs inspired by Assamese heritage

The first tomb was designed for Manavi Ram Baruva by taking elements from his residence in Sonari Tea Estate, Assam, India. The typical tin curved and pitched roofs, the unique railing design, along with the style of post and beam connections was a must have feature. As they symbolise the space he had most loved.

The second tomb was designed for Parvati Prasad Baruva and his wife Padma Kumari, by taking elements from the famous Barpet Satra Namghar in Assam. References from the column posts, beams and steps leading to the inner sanctum have been considered.
